Qualified Accountant (Full Time)

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Qualified Accountant to join our Accountancy Practice based in the Yorkshire Dales. The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in preparing Financial Statements, have client facing involvement with a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and delivering strategic financial advice where appropriate.  The role also requires you to support the development and learning of junior members of staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of draft Financial Statements for all business types

  • Conducting reviews of drafted financial statements

  • Providing tax planning and compliance services for individuals and businesses

  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent certification)

  • Proven experience in Private Practice

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning

  • Experience or knowledge of the Agricultural sector would be beneficial

Salary

£35,000 to £45,000 depending upon experience.
